Pedal Power School Workshop & Silo Illumination

We will be rolling up to Rainbow in Victoria's North West to get involved with The Oasis Rainbow in 2017.....and Rainbow had one serious outdoor projection screen in the form of a giant set of silo's! So we will be working with the local school on a pedal power workshop during the day, and then illuminating the silo's by night with the kids creations!

A Congregation of light

Fresh and unique performances of mobile, live animation sits at the heart of A Congregation of Light. Presented at Gertrude Street Projection Festival 2017


Site responsive projection and live light painting set a framework of video art as a tool of infinite possibilities, where emerging creative voices unfurl into the public imagination. 


A Congregation of Light will present participatory light painting with musical soundscapes and interactive elements stationed on the mobile Projector Bike. Utilising the revolutionary animation software, Tagtool, emerging artists avail of a future focused tool to transmit public performance outcomes.

Pedal Power Cinema - Melbourne LIVE Tourism Forum 2017

We have been lovingly searching far and wide for the latest and greatest short films that delve into the complex and invigorating world of sustainability in an unsustainable world....and yes we have discovered some gems!

Our pedal power cinema will keep the international guests active and engaged during the lunch break, as they pedal and participate in this exploration of sustainability through the medium of the moving image.

Melbourne LIVE is a full day program of engaging speakers, addressing the issues facing the visitor industry.  We have put together a dynamic conference format that includes international guest speakers, panels, plenaries and break out sessions, to really allow you to network , collaborate and get the most out of the day.

Join us in a community-driven celebration of our bike and rail precinct through this original and creative project.

LightenUpfield was born out of an event that became the catalyst for community to make a positive change, reclaim their precinct and help make the bike path a safer place.

Come along and light up various sites along the Upfield bike path, presented by your well-lit hosts Projector Bike. Featuring short films about our vibrant community made by the local filmmakers at Light Works Studios. LightenUpfield is the first of what is destined to be an annual temporary light activation event on the Upfield corridor.

Projector bike is a curated riding event that will take you around Banyule’s southern suburbs, stopping at various locations along the way to screen a series of award-winning short films.

The films are projected by the projector bike itself – a custom-designed three-wheeled cargo bike complete with a high-powered projector and stereo system.

You don’t have to be a keen cyclist as the tour is at a leisurely pace. Get on your bike and enjoy a unique mix of arts, culture and physical activity!

Wood Street Arts Space Residency - The Blockumentary

From the projector bike team who brought you The Crossing at Art In Public Places 2015, comes The Blockumentary; A 10 week videography residency at Woods Street Arts Space.  Through collaboration with the local community in and around Laverton, the videographers from Projector Bike  will create a “Blockumentary”; a short documentary film about the lives and times of the people who make Laverton so special and unique. The final “Blockumentary” will be shown during Art In Public Places in September 2017 .

Meet and create with documentary film artists. Come down and share your stories and be part of this local film.

Using innovative LED mobile media (By Projector Bike) and performing through the streets of Fitzroy the Wheel of Fate will bring performance and projections to unlikely places.

 Uprising Theatre is an innovative theatre company creating work with diverse young people living in and around the public housing estates of the City of Yarra.  A Program of Belgium Ave Neighbourhood House.

 Funded by the City of Yarra And Creative Victoria

Partnering with, Yarra Youth Services, These are the Projects we do Together, South East Advisory and Advocacy Council and Wyndham City Council Arts and Culture. Sponsored by Australian Catholic University.  Featured as part of the Gertrude Street Projection Festival.

Wyndham Winter Shorts is an opportunity for filmmakers of all ages, to take their skills to the next level and get some great exposure for their original work.

How do you get involved? 
All you need to do is submit an original short film between 1-15 minutes in length via this website by Friday 17th June 2016

From there, our panel will select the most creative, innovative, and exciting works for inclusion in the Wyndham Winter Shorts screening at secret locations along Watton Street in Werribee!
